Mukwa vs Fossil Fuels
Mukwa is a member of the People Vs Fossil Fuels coalition, which aims to urge the federal government to "declare a climate emergency and halt the federal approval of any new fossil fuel projects." Mukwa has committed staff to participate in the weekly national coalition call for members.
Red Stone Movement
The Red Stone Movement is composed of affected Tribal Governments, led by the Brave Heart Society and supported by grassroots members. Born out of necessity and guided by prayer, the Movement was established to oppose the pipeline near the sacred Pipestone National Monument. The Pipestone area is home to the sacred red stone used to create the canunpa, the sacred pipe. For generations, Tribal people who have been on this land for time immemorial have held this place in deep reverence.

Three Waters Pipeline Resistance Team, a volunteer-led grassroots group that engages in organizing with a focus on shutting down the Enbridge Mainline system – the largest conduit of tar sands oil in North America – and making it so pipelines that worsen climate change or violate Indigenous treaties are not built.
